I have always known Blair to be a compassionate man who continues to devote himself to serving others and living and breathing health.

Today we share with you Blair’s 3 Principles in tackling anxiety. Over to you Blair…..
In my experience, I know anxiety attacks to be more common today than ever before.
Our senses are massively over stimulated which has become a huge epidemic in our lives.
This major epidemic is also fuelling compulsive desires to consume more stimulating foods, activities and lifestyles than ever before causing physical emotional and physiological chaos.
So where do we start to creating relief from anxiety?
Like any problem in life if we can locate the root cause of the problem / anxiety we can then start to plug the holes rather than continue bailing the boat which is exhausting and just not sustainable.
So here are my 3 simple timeless principles you can apply yourself in overcoming mild anxiety in todays over stimulated world:
1. Mindful Movement
Moving your body to your breath connects your body and mind teaching your mind to observe and slow down rather than measure compare or even worse judge…
Having a regular Yoga or Tai Chi practice I personally have found is highly supportive.
Other simple ways to move mindfully:
Counting your steps to each breath as you walk,
Riding your bike mindfully with each peddle.
Swimming – a phenomenal way to get in the zone.
2. Clean & Vital
Cleansing your body will have instant healing and balancing effects not only in your body but also in your mind and emotions…
There are many cleanses out there, so it is important to choose the right one for you with guidance from a health practitioner
My basic tips:
Drink 2-3 litres of clean mineralised water!
Fasting e.g. 12hrs during the night- between 7pm and 7am
Hydrate and support yourself with herbal tea- my personal favourite is the Bee Clear mint tea! “AMAZING”
3. Beyond Belief
Belief systems are just stored memories that basically create our current reality..
Some are helpful and some are crippling, causing all sorts of anxiety stress and tension. Meditation and mindfulness are fantastic tools to begin to unravel what is truth and gives you an objective ability to let go of what is not serving you.
Finding time and space to apply these 3 timeless principles will create that inner environment for you to blossom with confidence and ease.
